An awfully nice stretch of beachbreak that I never would have stumbled upon if it wasn't for the thousands of European surf fans leading the way through the adjacent farmland.

Quite a contrast from one year to the next. Both shots were taken during round two, although I took the Portugal shot between heats during a crowded free surf.
